The Executive Director reports to the International
Board and is responsible for all initiatives for DigitalEve.
With the help of the International Board, together they develop
the organization’s vision. The Executive Director is responsible
for managing and working directly with the Executive Management
Team on day-to-day operations. The Executive Director works
closely with the International Board to set a strategic vision
and fundraising. As the public face of our organization, the
Executive Director will frequently be asked to appear in interviews
with the media and must speak as an authority on women in technology
and the DigitalEve mission. |
| Responsibilities: |
- Oversees all DigitalEve initiatives
- Works closely with the Executive Management Team in the
top leadership position
- Supports fundraising, community building, and drives all
organizational development activities with respective committee
and team members
- Appears in interviews in the media, as well as speaks
at various technology or woman-related events, as invited
- Discusses and implements the organizational policy via
delegation to respective teams
- Regular attendance at Board and EMT meetings
- Involvement in discussion and implementation of organizational policy

| Qualities: |
- Previous Executive Level experience desired
- Excellent communication and diplomacy skills
- Experience in guiding teams, and strong leadership skills
- Ability to make tough decisions and to not take things personally
- Experience and ability to build strategic partnerships
- Ability to foster a vision and guide initiatives toward that vision
- Displays confidence in public speaking and acting as an
authority in issues regarding women in technology
- Familiarity with the technology community
- Ability to set limitations to ensure or work towards a work/life balance as a role model for others in the organization
