The Public Relations Director is responsible
for planning a sound public relations strategy in both the United
States and Internationally. As an Executive Management Team
member, the Public Relations Director delegates responsibilities
to the Public Relations Manager, and establishes public relation
policies with excellent public relations skills and expedites
communication strategies. |
| Responsibilities: |
- Defines boundaries regarding public relations issues
- Strategizes sound public relation policies and enforces them
- Manages Public Relations team
- Regular meetings with communications, marketing and chapter relations teams
- Uses established contacts for press releases to spread
DigitalEve involvement within the community
- Regular attendance at monthly Executive Management Team
meetings
- Active involvement in EMT and Board emails
- Serves on the Executive Management Team

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent management skills
- Experience within different media means (newspapers, web, journals, television and radio)
- Reliable, dependable and efficient
- Ability to work well with others and independently
- Uses concise language to convey ideas, issues and responses
- Has trusted sources for releasing time dependent issues
