Mentoring Outreach Program:
Our members work in the community to provide free digital technology training
for women and girls. Such programs include: "How to use the Internet
safely", "How to use email", "How to make your own
web page", etc. These events are held in conjunction with organizations
like Big Sisters of Philadelphia and RebootPhilly.org.
To volunteer at Reboot Philly, fill out this volunteer
form and return it to Reboot Philly. They give our members the opportunity
to give back to the community and act as role models to encourage women
of all ages to become part of our digital culture.
Mentoring for College Women
in Technology Curricula: DigitalEve is working with area colleges
and universities to create DigitalEve college chapters. Through these
chapters, DigitalEve will provide mentoring to college women in need.
In addition, the college women will be encouraged to provide mentorship
upper to lower classwomen and college women to high school women. This
program is in the development stage and we hope to see our first chapters
in Fall 2001.
Mentoring for Career Development
Program: This program will match a local female career professional
or successful entrepreneur with a mid-level career professional or start
up entrepreneur. The program will focus on helping the mid-level pro or
start up entrepreneur gain the help they need to make it to the next level
of their career. This program is in the development stage. We hope to
have matches available by the beginning of 2002.
